How can you help other potential operatives find MFU?

Social media is one of the easiest ways to reach potential volunteers. Even a handful of posts can put MFU in front of someone who is interested in preserving and teaching banned knowledge.

This mission also asks you to introduce yourself on Discord, which is where our community actually lives. We'd love to know what brought you here and, if you're comfortable sharing, a little bit about your background.

This package is for potential volunteers seeking a way to push back against authoritarianism and cruelty through education.

This mission has two parts.

Part 1: Social media posts

Post 5 social media messages about MFU across one or more platforms. Each post should include a mention of MFU and a link to myflyinguniversity.org. Beyond that, it's up to you. Share what MFU does, why you signed up, what issues you're hoping to address, or whatever feels natural.

Part 2: Discord introduction

Join the MFU Discord server and introduce yourself with your alias. Let us know what made you interested in volunteering at MFU. If you feel comfortable sharing, tell us a little about your background and areas of interest. This is a good way to connect with other "operatives" on the MFU team.

Operative must provide:

• Social media account(s)
• Discord account (free)

MFU will provide:

• An invite to the MFU Discord server

Essential skills:

• Familiarity with at least one social media platform

If you're not sure what to say in your posts, check out the MFU website and browse around. You could:

• Share a lesson or other completed educational item.
• Link to the mission board or a specific mission.
• Connect people to the MFU calendar.
• Use our "About" page to help you describe MFU.
• Provide a link to the volunteer application.
• Provide a link to the MFU Discord server.
